David, the groom at my wedding this past weekend is a cartoonist – he writes several online cartoons including Shortpacked and Joyce and Walky.  While Joyce and Walky is not based on Maggie and David’s real life – apparently Joyce and Walky have super powers and Maggie and David don’t.  Well, not that I know of anyway – but the timing of the character’s wedding and the real life wedding happened to match up.

So the below comic strip is from the morning of the wedding and the groom has been kidnapped by his ex girlfriend.  I am happy to report that in real life, the groom was not kidnapped and the wedding went off without a hitch.  I will write my recap of Maggie and David’s pirate wedding soon but for now I give you my comic debut – thanks for sharing Maggie and David, love it!
