The largest association of professional wedding planners in the world and a GREAT place to start your search for a wedding planner/consultant/coordinator. All members have to abide by their ethical code as well as have at least 6 hours of continuing education each year just to maintain membership.

A note about the next few days of the Bookmark Worthy series – I am going to be highlighting some vendor associations. Many amazing wedding vendors are NOT part of any association, many are. It is a choice that each of us make on our own – I choose to be a part of several associations and they have served me well. Also, it varies from city to city which groups are good, worthwhile and beneficial.
So, with that said, the next few days will be all about some solid associations that are good jumping off points in researching your vendors.
Shoes, shoes and more shoes! This is a good place to start the hunt for fabulous wedding shoes (that will be hidden most of the night by your fabulous dress).

So just click on Freerice.com and work through the vocab questions – for each one you get right, you help donate 20 grains of rice to hungry people around the world. Doing good seriously couldn’t be any easier.

Another confession for you – I am actually a pretty good cook. I like to do it and enjoy my time in the kitchen BUT every once in a while, I find myself knee deep in a recipe that is way beyond my skill level. This is where Chef’s Line comes in handy. My favorite option is to buy 30 minutes of on-demand help. Stuck in the middle of making something and lost? Call the chefs and they will walk you through (or out of) the rest of the recipe. Romantic dinner saved.
