Happy New Year and Congratulations!

Friday, December 28th, 2007

…Happy New Year – no matter how fabulous this past year was for you, I hope that 2008 is even better!!

…and Congratulations to all the newly engaged couples! Lots of couples ring in the new year with brand new rings!

We still have some open dates this year so send us an email (emilie@emilieduncan.com) or give us a call to schedule a meeting! We would love to hear all about your ideas and of course, that wonderful proposal! Our dates are filling up quickly since we take only a limited number of couples each season and never more than one couple a weekend – we want to make sure that you get the attention level you deserve.

We can’t wait to talk to you!!

From our family to yours…

My my, just how much I've missed you…

Anyone who knows me really well knows I am a huge ABBA fan! I grew up on their music, I can sing just about every song they ever did and still have their CD in regular rotation in my car.

For our anniversary about 3 years ago, Randy bought me tickets to go see Mamma Mia when it was in Cleveland. He laughed through the whole show because apparently I had the biggest grin on my face and mouthed words and danced through the whole show! Yes, I am a total dork but I was NOT alone in my reaction to the show!

Imagine how thrilled I was when I saw that they are making a movie version! Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, and Pierce Brosnan are all staring – and just for extra fun it is being released on MY birthday next year!

I know where my birthday party next year is going to be – at the movie theater!

Toys for Tots

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

I just spent a lovely evening at the Franklin Park Conservatory at the December event for the International Special Event Society (ISES). It was a membership drive (I am on the membership committee so if you want info about ISES just let me know!) and toy drive for Toys for Tots.

The Columbus area Toys for Tots gave out toys to over 25,000 kids last year and their goal this year is to help 50,000 kids but they are falling short! So if you are looking for a great cause to give to for the holidays – look no further than Toys for Tots! You can drop off an unwrapped toy at any Toys R Us or Babies R Us store or contact Toys for Tots directly. They could use the help this year and so could thousands of children!
