My poor laptop – not only was the battery dying at an alarming rate, the port for the charger was wonky and had to be jerry rigged on a regular basis and to make it more fun, in order to hear any sound you had to push down as hard as possible on the right hand side!

So, she is in the shop for the next two weeks getting a tune up. So no laptop and a little MIA.

Seriously, how cute are they? A very fun, gracious, loving, just plain fabulous couple.

First things first: I am using ya’ll with reckless abandon. In everyday conversation. I like it.

Anyway, I got lost in Lexington today. Considering Lexington is only about 2 square miles, that is actually quite an impressive feat. (okay, Lexington isn’t that small but it is small.)

I have been running all over town, getting my bearing and establishing mental landmarks but still need lots of things: a lawyer, CPA, hair stylist, realtor, eyebrow person, printing house, dog sitter and groomer, insurance agent.

What is the first thing I plan to work on? Eyebrows. Like that was even a question.

In a shocking turn of nature, I have a batch of pretty purple flowers that cropped up right outside the back door. They make me smile in a regular basis. I will take a picture tomorrow so ya’ll can smile too. (See? Reckless abandon!)

Cleveland was 14 degrees on Tuesday morning and it is currently 34.

Lexington was 51 degrees on Wednesday morning and it is currently 70 DEGREES!!! 70. SE-VEN-TY.

I’m gonna be just fine thankyouverymuch!
