Learning, Creative and Random Things

1. Take a class on glass blowing and make a blown glass ornament

2. Repair the stained glass window from old church in Detroit
(I actually gave this away so I guess I will count that as completed!)

3. Learn to make candles
(Made citronella candles for our patio – July 2010)

4. Take a self portrait

5. Learn to drive a stick shift

7. Make something for myself
(Sewed several cute summer knit scarves for summer – April 2010)

8. Build a snowman with Ellie and Randy

10. Collect a complete set of US state quarters for Ellie

Travel and Adventure Things

(Grandma and Grandpa Curtis gave us a membership for Christmas 2008)

(Flew to Arizona on March 1, 2008 – she was a ROCKSTAR!)

Ellie Things

27. Start a garden in the side yard with Ellie to grow flowers and veggies
(Built a garden box for Ellie and planted radishes, white pumpkins, beans, carrots and orange pumpkins – June 2010)

28. Finish Ellie’s baby book
(Finished on April 16, 2010 when Ellie was 31 months old – better late than never!)

29. Teach Ellie sign language
(Ellie and I took sign language in April of 2008)

30. Start Ellie in swim lessons so she isn’t scared of water
(Ellie finished her Darling Ducklings class at Dublin Rec on March 14, 2008)

(Done! It has a rock wall, three swings and a wavy slide! June 2010)

(Fed the expired meters on Gay Street in downtown Columbus on my way to a hair appointment.)

(Left 3 notes in 3 books that I returned in April to the Worthington Library!)

46. Participate in one Race for the Cure Walk each year (3/3)
(Slept in for the Cure 2008, 2009 and 2010)

(Sent a letter to Amy Wilson who wrote “When Did I Get Like This?” – awesome read for any mom!)
